- The Freedom Hidden Countertop Bracket is designed for use in island extension/overhang applications where 2/3 of the countertop is supported by the cabinet base. The Freedom is NOT recommended for use in elevated countertop applications, wall mounted counters, or benches. To fully support a counter without the need of a cabinet base; a gusseted bracket is recommended.
