• Strong Hold Starts with the Right Application Shabebe Rock Glue is designed to stabilize pea gravel, pebbles, and other loose landscape materials when applied correctly. Choose from spray, pour, or mix applications based on your project. For spray applications, use 2 even, thin coats on typical flat areas and 3 thin coats on slopes or windy areas, focusing extra product on exposed edges and the top of slopes. For projects requiring the strongest overall hold, mix the glue directly with the rocks first, then pour or place the coated material into position.
• Proper Prep Helps Improve Adhesion Good bonding starts with proper surface preparation. Remove loose dirt, dust, and debris before application. For gravel and pebbles, especially smoother stones, lightly mist the surface with water before spraying to help the glue spread and grip more evenly—do not soak the material or apply over standing water. For pine straw, lightly tamp it down after spraying to improve contact and adhesion.
• Honey-Thick 12,000 mPa·s Formula – Avoid Over-Diluting Shabebe features a high-viscosity formula of approximately 12,000 mPa·s that flows like honey and is designed to coat and connect the contact points between loose stones. Follow the dilution instructions on the label and manual carefully. Over-diluting, applying too little glue, or spreading the product too thin can result in weak or uneven bonding. Apply enough product to evenly coat the material and achieve the level of stabilization your project requires.
• 12–24 Hour Dry Time – Protect from Rain for 48 Hours Under sunny conditions around 50–80°F, Rock Glue typically dries in 12–24 hours; cool or humid conditions may require 24–48 hours. Keep the treated area protected from rain for 48 hours, because rain before the glue has fully dried can weaken adhesion. Avoid disturbing or testing the stones too early. Once fully dry, the bond is designed to withstand normal outdoor rain, wind, and routine leaf-blower use.
• Know Where It Works Best – Realistic Outdoor Durability Recommended for mulch, wood chips, pea gravel, 4–10 mm gravel, pebbles, sand, pine straw, shells, and suitable decorative landscape stones. Ideal for garden paths, walkways, gaps between pavers, flower beds, borders, and slopes. Rubber mulch and oversized, very smooth stones are not recommended, and the product is not designed for vehicle traffic. On properly applied flat areas, the hold can last up to 12 months under normal conditions; slopes, heavy wind, weather exposure, and frequent traffic may require an extra coat or periodic touch-ups.
• Intertek-Tested, Non-Toxic & Dries Clear Shabebe Rock Glue features a water-based, non-toxic formula tested by Intertek. Once fully dry, it is child-safe, pet-safe, and plant-safe for landscaped areas. The liquid may appear slightly white or light blue while wet to help show application coverage, then dries clear without leaving an obvious white or blue residue. Its water-permeable bond allows rainwater to drain naturally through the treated stones. Do not spray directly on plants, and keep children and pets away from the treated area until fully dry.
